Beautiful darker pink tzute with two large rectangles with black outlined colored squares. Typical bleeding of the pink dye can be seen toward the outer edges of the tzute. Bleeding pink dyes are very common and symbolic in Nahuala textiles. The color represents menstrual blood, a symbol of fertility. This piece is in near perfect condition with only a few light stains near the edge of the plain weave area. There are long red tassels on each corner. The darker red yarn in the decorative woven area is either silk or artisela. 34”W X 36”L.
