During the 20 years that I owned a physical gallery space for Las Manos Magicas, I sold many of my very eclectic one-of-a-kind jewelry designs there. I have photographed my necklaces and earrings and now offer them for sale here on the Las Manos Magicas website as the Crozat Collection. My jewelry is made from fine quality components - unusual, often imported, and sometimes rare old beads. These are often combined with rare pendants from ethnic and contemporary sources.
Over the years, I have collected rare silver dowry pieces from India, small boxwood carvings from China. stone carvings, raku pendants, just to name a few. I use these in many of my necklaces. Because the components are expensive, all necklaces are hand-knotted so that if a necklace should ever break, the components can be recovered. Hand-knotting also gives a necklace a “fluidity” when it moves that you don’t get from pieces that are just strung, but not knotted. Please enjoy them and treasure them.
Necklace lengths are measured clasp to clasp and do not include the length of a hanging pendant. Components of the jewelry are listed for each piece.
Earrings are at the bottom half of the page. I use a wide variety of beads, Chinese enameled pieces, and dichroic glass in my earrings. All of my dichroic glass earrings are purposely mismatched for a more eclectic look. All earwires are either sterling silver or gold filled, as indicated.
